Meet Anjana
Yoga Therapist
Namaskaram!
I am a Yoga Therapist with a mission to bring Swasthya to everyone that I come across by introducing the science of yoga into their lives. Through propagating this mystical science of ultimate wellbeing, I hope I will be able to do my part in creating a conscious planet.
My teachings are based on the principles of Yoga Therapy. I take both group/individual yoga sessions and yoga therapy sessions. All my sessions are customized according to the needs of the participants. Apart from that, I invest a fair amount of my time in training the future Yoga teachers through Yoga TTC sessions by associating with other Yoga schools.

My Story
..a journey from IT to Yoga..
I started my career with Infosys as a QA professional. After six exciting years at Infosys, I decided to take a short career break to rejuvenate my body & mind. It was early 2016 and the yoga boom was slowly catching up with the world. Like so many others then, I also decided to try out Yoga.

I found a yoga center near my place and registered for a morning yoga batch. After few days of practicing yoga, my body and mind felt much better. This positive experience convinced me to register for a month-long Yoga TTC course that was happening near my place. At that time, I never knew that I was about to step into a new chapter of my life. Those 30 days of asanas, pranayama and the knowledge that I received in that course changed my life completely. I was experiencing the magic of Yoga for the first time in my life, I was so happy for no reason at all, I was experiencing a new joy, a new freedom in my body & mind, that I haven’t experienced before.
To be honest, I was little surprised by these changes happening ‘within’ me! My logical mind could not decipher how one could get wellbeing by doing few stretches & breathing practices. During one of those days, I noticed that I had been getting exposed to Yoga, either consciously or unconsciously, from my childhood itself. I could see a curious pattern by which ‘nature’ is introducing Yoga into my life through different life situations and experiences. But I was consumed with my thoughts & emotions and had never realized it in the past.

And suddenly, it dawned on me; a sense of clarity seeped into my 'being'. I was certain without any doubt that Yoga is nourishing every cell in me and I am enjoying each and everything about this mystical science that elevates humans to their true potential. Then, why can’t I be a tool that propagates this science? Why can’t I play a role in the evolution of the human consciousness?
That’s how Yoga chose me.
What is Yoga Therapy?
Take a deep breath, visualize a majestic aeroplane cruising at a tremendous speed through a nearby highway; visualize people using this majestic machine for their daily commute. I know you are a little but surprised, but is it not possible? Yes, it is very much possible - it’s just that an aeroplane was not designed for this purpose. Similarly using Yoga as a therapeutic doctrine is very much possible, but its not what Yoga is meant to be!

Yoga is a technique or tool for self-realization and can be practiced by anyone irrespective of their age, gender or religious backgrounds. Yoga uses body & mind to transform humans to their ultimate being or to their true potential. The overall improvement in health observed by a yoga ‘sadhaka’ or one who practices yoga is just a side effect of Yoga.
During this inward journey, what is not needed for you or what is not you, will gradually disappear. That means that you will experience pleasantness in your body, mind, emotions & energies or in other words you will experience Swasthya. Using Yoga for therapeutic purposes is a necessity of the modern world, but Yoga can do wonders to you than just making you healthy.

Yoga obliterates boundaries that we have created within us and dissolves our being with the whole cosmos!
